Renew means to make like new and restore to original design, to make new spiritually. Renew ministries is a prophetic and prayer-based ministry that supports people to be renewed by knowing who God is and who they are in Christ. Then they can be free to live out the life God has created for them. In this spiritual renewal, sometimes a person experiences freedom and healing physically and emotionally as well. A Renew Ministries session is where a Renew Ministries Minister may lead you through prayer in response to the revelation you receive from God. Prophecy is sometimes given. General recommendations may be offered for you to practically take steps to continue hearing more revelation and seeing further healing. Sometimes a second minister might be present to intercede throughout the session. A session will usually run for approximately 90 minutes.
It is necessary to understand this is a time between you and God and spiritual preparation is important. There is usually a waiting time to get an appointment, and this is seen as valuable to the whole process and is to be used in seeking God for yourself with prayer and sometimes fasting. Renew Ministries is not counselling and is not a place of seeking answers from the Renew Ministries Ministers but from God himself.
