TREASURE TOWN AGES 3 - PREP
DISCOVERY CITY GRADES 1-6
Hope Kids is a fun and caring place for children to find friends and grow in their Christian faith.
Treasure Town (3 years to Prep) Through interactive activities, songs, crafts and bible stories the Treasure Town program will help your little ones discover that they are valued, and belong to the family of God.
Discovery City (Grades 1-6) This dynamic space inspires children to embark on and go further in their unique journey with Jesus and others. This is nurtured through bible teachings, worship, prayer, games & more!
HOW IT WORKS:
Head to our Kids check-in desk in the foyer when you arrive for church, our Hope Kids leaders will greet you with a smile, sign your kids in and direct you to the correct room for your kids. If you haven't filled out an enrolment form for the current year, We'll ask you to do that too. Check - in opens at 8:50am for ALL programs
Discovery City kids will make their way into their room at the same time as they are checked from 8:50am.
Treasure Town kids begin in the service with their parents / guardians. An announcement will be made during the service for you to proceed to the Hope Kids area and drop off your already checked in children for supervision.
At the end of church, Parents/Legal Guardians are asked to proceed promptly to the Hope Kids area to pick up their children. Thank you!
Parents are generally not allowed to remain in the room for the duration of the program in accordance with our child safety policy. However, on occasion, we may request your temporary assistance if your child finds it difficult to settle or requires additional support.
We believe all kids are valued and created in God's image. We endeavour to provide an environment where every child can encounter Jesus and explore faith. We have created a dynamic program where children with a variety of needs have found a place to belong. Our teams current capacity does not enable us to provided 1:1 support for children who may require it. However, we welcome you to have a conversation with our Hope Kids leader Josh if you would value further insights into the program to guage its suitability for your child(ren); and to explore how we can further support your child’s unique faith journey.

Due to food allergies, we kindly ask that you do not send food with your children to the program.
We would for the purpose of rewards provide a small lolly to a child. On the rare occasion we may also use food in our competitions/games. Such food allowances however, are made with careful consideration of our children’s noted food aversions or allergies.
Sometimes children feel hungry, especially after morning activities. We do not provide snacks as it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement. Therefore, we recommend you provide your child with something to eat before they attend the program. We also recommend that they bring a drink bottle, particularly during the warmer months.
Important: All allergies are to be stated on your child’s initial registration form. If any updates are required email, office@hopecommunity.com.au
During Hope Community’s post service connection time, free ice blocks, other snacks & drinks are made available. It would then be a parents and guardians responsibility to supervise their children’s access to these available food & drinks.
While we eagerly look forward to having your child in our weekly program, if your child has had a fever, cough, coloured discharge from their nose, vomiting, diarrhoea or any other symptoms that may be deemed as spreadable in the last 24 hours, we kindly ask that they do not attend Hope Kids.
Please keep your phone with you at all times after you have checked your child into Hope Kids. An SMS or Phone Call is our main mode of contacting you if you are required.
Please ensure your correct contact details and emergency contacts are supplied and kept up-to-date.
Nappy changes will remain the responsibility of a child’s parent or guardian. Should your child require a change, you will be contacted via sms/phone to come attend to your child.
